    Hey guys,
I am new here and I have a 360 slim (not modded at all) and I recently installed the most recent update (using xbox live) for the dashboard and now my console is jacked up. I cant stay connected to live or to parties and I am having various issues just with the dashboard in general. I would like to either reinstall the NXE dashboard and have my console re-download and reinstall the NEW dashboard and update OR reinstall the new dashboard and have the console update itself after I connect to live again. Is this possible without modding my xbox and still being able to connect to xbox live? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Also my console is out of warranty and I have been on the phone with Xbox tech support for about 4 hours and they havent fixed it yet. They keep dancing around the idea it might be software related when I know it is!
    Thanks!

P.S. I have already tried uninstalling the update and reinstalling it using a flash drive, that is why I am here. :(

If you are signed in to live you have the latest dashboard update with all the avatar / kinect data.

It sounds like a problem with your internet connection, try resetting your modem / router. Do you get an open connection to Xbox Live? Is your ISP having any problems?

No. It's the dashboard. I'm having similar problems, except sometimes it just won't let me join parties when i joined one only a couple minutes beforehand. I'm guessing we'll have to wait till any new updates.
