Homeland is an upcoming American psychological thriller television series. The series stars Claire Danes as Carrie Mathison, a CIA operations officer who has come to believe that an American Marine, who was held captive by Al-Qaeda as a prisoner of war, was turned by the enemy and now poses a significant risk to national security.

The series will be broadcast in the United States on the cable channel Showtime and is due to premiere on October 2, 2011. The first episode was made available on YouTube over two weeks prior to broadcast.

If you are in America you can watch the pilot episode below:

For anyone not in America i ripped the pilot episode form YouTube using a very slow proxy, the end result is a high quality 720p MP4 video.

(I uploaded this to Multiupload as its probably not the best thing for Digiex to be hosting. You should be able to download from the direct link there with no problems, or wait times.)

I think its well worth watching if you enjoyed other TV shows such as 24 and Prison Break, after watching the pilot episode i will defiantly be watching the series when it premiers on TV (Y)

Just watched this and I LOVE IT!

Homeland is created by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa who both had a lot to do with 24. Howard created the entire story for 24 Series 3 and 4 and later went on to be the executive producer and show-runner until 24 finished, Alex was a writer in Series 7 and 8. That gives me confience the show should be great like the pilot episode.

Watch now if you are a thriller / action Junkie, or just like a good story. You will not regret it.

There's an unedited version on the Internet, if you look for it.
