Hotmail becomes Outlook

    It replaces Hotmail.com and has no affect on live accounts.

    Nothing changes, its just a new web interface. Your account will be exactly the same.

    You can even go back to the hotmail interface if you wish:

    After using Outlook.com, I doubt anyone will want to switch back to Hotmail ;)

    I agree, love the clean ad-free interface!

    And you can switch to @outlook.com adresses now (by opening the 'welcome to outlook' email and clicking the 'change id' link), and all mail send to your old adress will be forwarded to your new.

    Very cool! Go get a clean short Microsoft Account name now that you can! ;)

    I changed my e-mail to an Outlook one and haven't needed to alter anything as of right now :) Also loving the new interface, didn't exactly hate the old one either.
