You will need: A Jtagged Xbox 360 running Freeboot 9199 or above Dashlaunch 2.23 Put the ini file on the root of your usb drive (you dont need to set dash launch to auto boot anything use my settings below if you want) just paste this into the launch.ini file that comes in the dashlaunch zip. Code: [QuickLaunchButtons] Default = BUT_X = Hdd:\Content\0000000000000000\C0DE9999\00080000\C0DE99990F586558 BUT_A = BUT_B = BUT_Y = Start = Back = LBump = [plugins] plugin1 = plugin2 = [Settings] pingpatch = true contpatch = true fatalfreeze = false regionspoof = true dvdexitdash = false fatalreboot = true nosysexit = false exchandler = false debugout = false livestrong = false the above settings if you keep button x pressed at boot then xex menu will boot straight away Make sure the launch.ini is on the root of your drive before the next step Place the dashlaunch installer folder on the root of your usb drive launch the dashlaunch xex with your choice of xex loader Let it install the patches for your mobo. This will reboot your jtag Launch the dashlaunch xex again If you are using my settings when you run the installer again decline the option to edit the settings as I have already done that for you. If you want to mess with the settings the main thing you need to look out for is the option to skip game updates!! the whole point of this tut!
If you are on 9199 this will work for most games, Mortal Kombat been the only exception I can think of. However you will still not be able to play any games that needs the Kinect sensor as 9199 does not support the Kinect hardware. On 12611 or above all games will work at preset. I would personally update: Bestpigs FreeBOOT Toolbox 0.04 Maker v2.7.2 (13599 kernel / dashboard) Or Easily update your Jtagged Xbox 360 to Kernel / Dashboard 12611 with FbBuild 0.11
