If you google "kool aid banned uk" the first link you get is to this thread, so probably not. Practically Edible says that "Kool-Aid is also sold in Brazil, Columbia, Japan, Russia, The Philippines, and Venezuela. It is not sold in the UK." It doesn't give an explaination for why it isn't sold so if it was banned, I'd like to know why. I know Nimrod mentioned why in his post but I can't find any news links to prove it.

Kool-Aid was sold in S.a, and then, for some reason they just stopped selling it, (apparently kids were'nt ingesting it properly, they were eating it without dissolving it or anything they were just eating it like sherbet, and that gives stomach ulcers), so they stopped selling Kool-Aid, and now they are selling a generic type knock off called Drink-O-Pop, thats not as harsh on your stomach...

Yeah, sometimes people use it to dye their hair for a day on halloween or sometimes on april fools day. I remember one of my friends coming to school with orange hair, his dad unscrewed the shower head and put koolaid into it so he'd get sprayed w/ koolaid.
