At about 3 MB, LakeSnes is one of the smaller ways to get Super Famicom and SNES games running on a PS5. The ps5-payload-dev build comes with two freely distributable homebrew titles, Smash It by elix, from 2014, and The Final Insect by Taurus, from 1993, each with a screenshot, so you can see it working before any of your own games are added.

Download LakeSnes for the PS5
Copy the LakeSnes folder to /data/homebrew/LakeSnes on the console (FTP is fine), then open the homebrew page that websrv serves (http://PS5_IP:8080/index.html) or start the Launcher app, with your console's IP address in place of PS5_IP, and pick LakeSnes. Your own SNES ROMs go in the roms folder next to the two homebrew ones.
Like the rest of this PS5 series, it needs ps5-payload-elfldr and ps5-payload-websrv running. The websrv project page is github.com/ps5-payload-dev/websrv.
