Your after a capture card, the HD PVR by Hauppauge is supposed to be good.

Someone also did a review of the Easy Cap on here a while ago, wasn't bad at all for only £5.

That was me they are really good 4 a fiver especially for getting started

thats one of the videos i recorded with it but you need other software (powerdirector 8 or 9 is best) cos the one it comes with is just awful and doesnt really work

but if you order one from the wrong place u will most likely get a fake one/ broken one so i will post the link to the one i bought and the drivers 4 it if ya want

also the video i put was sped up buy about 2 times

Ha Ha Ha no i couldnt anyway about 7 different people make the "easycap"s and they all use different chipsets in them but they are a hobbie of mine i love tinkering with them i might start a business of transfering vhs tapes but honestly you should get one nutter for recording stuff to demonstrate jttag stuff and fw updates

the one i will send the link to is the easiest one to set up it also seems most reliable i fou get one i will upload the dirvers 4 you (xp vista and 7 64 and 32) but also remember if you want to make any decent videos you need powerdirector 8 or 9 ))))))

I've been wanting to do this.

I think easy cap captures SD though looking for HD stuff like HD PVR i'm not really interested in one of those fat things though. I might get a pci-express card for my PC or laptop which has hdmi input so i can grab footage from my Xbox but of course, it's still expensive stuff and i may aswell buy a pvr.
