Hi, i just found something i wanted in a megadownload and the link is not deleted yet, but whenever i click on the download button, i go back to the home page, any ideas?
The files that website linked to are hosted on Megaupload and Rapidshare, both of which no longer exist, so their is no file to download.
A handful of other file sharing sites were shut down this year, do you guys this is due to some legal trouble or just some coincidence?
I think its probably due to these sharing sites mainly hosting pirated material and ignoring DMCA requests, more legit services like Dropbox for example have never had any problems. I know Zippyshare closed down, they were already blocking certain countries such as the UK from accessing their site, so I suspect that probably was due to legal pressure.
