Need help badly!!!!!! xbox 360 dashboard updates question

As you all know the new dashboard update enables the boot from disc option and it also detect the copies of the games like Black ops, Reach and MW2, so my question is: if i skip this update and update when the next one comes out will my xbox get the changes from the update that i've skiped??????? please help

 

if you skip the update and do the next one the same stuff will be in the next update also

i heard that you have to stealth patch the game then you have to burn it again.then it will work

 

but those games have already been patched for the stealth but i haven't installed the update because i don'tknow what migth happen
