The problem so far is that they're not connecting. i got VBA-m to launch with the BIOS. When VBA-m wouldnt work i went to VBA-link. In Animal Crossing i'd go to the e-reader station and once im there i'd prep VBA e-reader and it wouldn't connect. I've even tried a VBA-link that had E-Reader + Link Cable Emulation from a forum page in this website that was used for a Pokemon game. And with Dolphin i got a BIOS for it too and it runs. I just don't know how to get VBA-m or link to connect to Dolphin while playing Animal Crossing. There's only one video that i saw for Animal crossing and it wasn't a tutorial, but i did my best to replicate the video and still wouldn't connect. I have a couple E-card files and it would suck if they just went to waste. Haven't tested them since i can't get VBA e-reader to connect to Dolphin.

I would really appreciate if someone can guide me through this or let me know if it's not possible

VBA has a lot of unofficial variations, some are even malicious, others are extremely outdated. Just so we're on the same page you're using the ones here correct?

Yeah i have that one, i even downloaded the source code just in case it was needed, but have no clue how to use that. I also have this one and i also have VBA-m. But i'm assuming VBA link and the one you linked would work better?

i just want to know if it's something i'm doing wrong or maybe it's just the current build of Dolphin that maybe changed something
