Hi all.... I need some help, if possible i would like to use a PS3 controller (Dreamgear: DreamGEARPS3 Shadow 6 Wireless Controller - Camo) on my PC, i have the USB cable that fits into this controller, but if i need to get the Bluetooth device i can, but i don't wanna get it before i know it will work for sure! I've tried a few things already, some application (cant think of the name it think it is DS3 or something). I am running WIndows 7 Ultimate, 64Bit with latest updates to date. This is my PC Specs: Intel Core i5-3470 (3.2GHz, 6M Cache, 4x Cores) OCZ Agility 4 64GB Internal Solid State Drive SSD MSI Z77A-G43 Z77 Chipset SATA3 6.0Gb/s USB 3.0 MB Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz High Performance RAM MSI GeForce GT 630 4GB 128-bit DDR3 Graphics Card Would really appreciate your assistance with this.... PS. Glad to be back!!!
Apparently its possible to pair any PS3 controller like this: - Open Sixaxis Pair Tool - Connect new PS3 Controller - Enter Bluetooth Adapter MAC address and click UPDATE - Re-plugin PS3 Controller and start Motioninjoy and load driver (If Windows doesn't install driver automatically) - Remove usb cable Sixaxis Pair Too: Dancing Pixel Studios Motioninjoy - http://www.xinputer.com/download/MotioninJoy_071001_signed.zip I couldn't honestly tell you if it will work however, from what people say it appears to be possible and work best if you have a Bluetooth 2.0 dongle.
Thanks Nutter, ill give it a try and post back on progress... need to go and pick up a bluetooth dongle at Matrix...
