Hi everyone. I know little about encoding despite my ongoing attempt to archive my oh too large collection of DVD series to save shelf space and my sanity. I found this site while looking for a HQ setting for the fabulous Vidcoder software and as I need some help I unashamedly joined in the hope I may get some, and learn in the process.
Hey and welcome to Digiex! i'm no expert encoder by any means, however after days of messing about with some Blu-rays i got this xmas i came up with some settings i was happy with for 720p encodes. I then did a 480p version of the settings for DVD's. I replied to your thread anyway so let me know if you want my settings. Hope you enjoy Digiex too!
