    Would this allow people who don't have a plex pass to use it on their xbox?
    I have Plex Pass and a sever I wish to share with my brother who doesn't have Plex yet.

    No i don't believe so as you have to log in to your Plex account, which i think is where it checks you have a Plex pass.

    If you load the system video player up on the Xbox 360 it will find your Plex server on your laptop and let you stream content, i've found the quality of the video when it transcodes for this though to be very poor.

    This isn't for local streaming and I haven't shared the library over the internet. Purely shared through Plex. I have read that it will eventually be for standard plex users so in the mean time I gave him my Plex Plus access as I don't use it on my Xbox 360.

    Is it possible for me to upload the last version of plex from the xbox 360 store? copywrite on the app is from 2021, it's about 123mb and i can't upload it on this thread here. Thanks.
