Title says it all :),

Shall leave the poll for a week, As one of the owners said it could possibly return if people will use it :).

I probably wouldn't use it as i just float in, see what new posts there are and float out.
I like the idea though but i probably wont vote as it would be a wasted vote.

He means an IRC channel for Digiex, i said it might be possible something like that could return if there was interest.

I agree with you for the reasons about implementing a shoutbox though.

*throws shout-box idea out of the window*, The IRC would be good though and Nimrod i speak to Insanenutter about it last night :)

I'm all up for bringing IRC back, I use it a lot. Though if we did I would like to integrate a bot which took the chat log and published it to Digiex. So at least if a User asked a question and it was answered, they could find it on the site. I'm honestly against any idea though which would make IRC a place for help, as the forum has a real purpose for that as I discussed.

If its something to go down, here is my view point as an Admin:

Intergrate with Vbulletin so the Chat loads up in the Vbulletin Page like the old Minecraft Site did, using the Quakenet Web Client so people can join without IRC. Then add a tab to the top header called 'Chat'.

What are other peoples thoughts on this?

Seems like the way to do it :).
