    SKFU has released Ps Vita Firmware xTractor, allowing the PS Vita firmware 00.945.040 to be un-packed and explored. His reason for this release is to look for possible Jailbreak routes and show other would be Vita developers they are not alone.

    Wonder how the person who created that even get the Vita firmware to do so?

    I guess he must be an actual dev who likes homebrew.

    Nope its out in Japan on December 17th and Feb 22nd 2012 in Europe and the US.

    The guy who made that app must be an actual dev, or have some good sources to get access to stuff so early.

    It seems like it would be better to release this after the system has been out. I'd think this would just give Sony a heads up that they might need to change some things before release to combat this. *-)
