If holding up a Wiimote inset in a circular lump of plastic is getting a little tiresome for you, then help is at hand. Fresh off the back of a deal with Activision to provide premium instruments for Guitar Hero on Wii, Logitech have announced a new force feedback steering wheel to enhance your racing experience on the Nintendo Wii.

Designed for Need For Speed: Undercover, the steering wheel sports built in braking and acceleration controls, so no more need for pedals, and comes with a lap rest. Also using the 2.4 GHz wireless, you can enjoy lag-free racing from up to 30 feet away from the console using a plugin USB reciever.

Partnered up with Nintendo and EA on the product, the steering wheel will provide traditional support for existing games such as Mario Kart, but also pave the way for the upstart of force feedback utilising games such as the upcoming Need For Speed: Undercover (available in November).

The Logitech Speed Force Wireless Racing Wheel goes on sale in November and is expected to reach around £60 or $100.
