For those who didn't know (because I had no idea until last week), Rust is a multiplayer survival game developed by Facepunch Studios that has been taking the PC gaming community by storm over the past few months. The game has already surpassed $1 million in sales, and is on target to be the next big Minecraft-esque clone to go viral. At a price of $19.99 for Early Access to the game (currently in Alpha), I'm holding out on purchasing it until I see some of my friends jumping on board; so now I'm left wondering... Has anyone here purchased Rust? What are your impressions of it? Would you recommend it?
I haven't gotten it yet, but I've been on the fence. I've been burned by too many of these early access survival games though
I bought it 1 month ago when it was peaking at around 10000 players.I must say it's lots of fun especially if you play with a friend or even a clan. I would totally recommend it as it's a fun and addicting survival game. Also it's not anywhere close complicated like other games in this genre.
