Is it possible to take a portable WD HD (USB connected) and turn it into an Xbox 250GB plug-and-play hard Drive? If so then how? The Xbox I am using is a 4GB Xbox Slim and the HD is a 500GB WD portable HD (USB connected)... Anyone? Anyone?
you would have to remove the hard drive from the enclosure then see if hddhackr will detect it connected via sata connection
Do what rick says, take it out the enclosure. If you have one of the following models you can hack it to work in the 360 with the tutorial here: https://digiex.net/guides-reviews/c...b-sata-drive-work-xbox-360-xbox-360-slim.html - WD Scorpio Series [Any model in that series will work] - WD Scorpio Blue Series BEVS/BEVT/BPVT - WD Scorpio Black Series BEKT/BJKT - WD VelociRaptor Series - WD AV-25 Series BUDT Be aware at the moment you will only be able to use 250gb of space as Rick also mentioned, it should be possible to use up to 320gb next month as Microsoft are releasing a new 320gb drive with the limited edition Gears of War 3 console.
