Sonic Effect by Kitarii [Trance, Electronic, Dance, MP3's] Sonic Effect by Kitarii [Sneak Preview - Exclusive to Digiex.net] [ABOUT] I've been making music since about 2006, when I started composing into a very experimental genre of music. Since then I have changed direction up into what I loosely define as trance, although can really only be grouped under electronica. At the start of 2008 I started taking the music making a little more seriously, which is when I started the trance album Sonic Effect. The tracks on this album are made with Logic Express, which has expanded my instrumental library and allowed me to try out some more advanced techniques which were previously impossible. You may listen to any of my music and think it sounds fairly amateur; I know I do. I am still learning, and at present am probably only using the bare basics of the programs to create some relatively simple music. Nevertheless, I hope you can still enjoy it. I also play the piano and the organ to proficient standards, and I play the drums to a decent standard, but it has never been a serious instrument for me like the keyboard instruments. I like to compose music for all sorts of projects, so if you have something you would like music for, take a look at my site and see if you like anything. If yes, then feel free to ask me to try and make something for you. Sonic Effect is officially released TODAY : 10 / 11 / 2009 All the tracks can be downloaded here or from my website (hosted by digiex.net). WOW, these are all REALLY GREAT! Your really good at making music! With your permission I might include one of these on my site as a background song or on my coming soon digiex exclusive trainer.
That's fine as long as you let me know and credit me on the page it's playing on somewhere. I can make you something original though, if you have something you'd like in mind describe how you'd like it to me and I can try and make it specially.
Thanks for offering. However, the ones you've got so far are great. Theres no need to create an exclusive one for me. Though if you'd like to go ahead. Just make whatever you like and i'll be sure to include one on my exclusive trainer, crediting you!
Ok so I made the stupid mistake of typing this on Kitarii's wall thing. Sorry about that mate! But basically This is great work. Keep it up. I would love to see some really heavy bass tunes moving into the Club/Trance genre. Just a thought.
Thanks for your comments guys. I'm told the bass thing fairly often, although there is quite a strong bass in a few of the tracks, namely Club Zero once it gets started. I don't want it to become bass dominant however, for me the harmony is more important.
I'm liking it man, as other people have said, bit more bass, and possibly speed it up a tiny bit? Although, having said that, its really good mate, keep it up! EDIT: Just listened to Solaris, and its a right song, BUT that is definitely one i would add a big bass line into, it could really do with it at the beginning!
I know it's been a while, but I finally got around to finishing track 7, "Air Lock". You can grab it off the first post if you feel like having a listen.
I'm really liking Air Lock man, sounds good! Keep up the good work, I look forward to the rest of the gaps being filled in!
Woah I forgot about this thread, haha. I changed the drums in Air Lock, a lot of people said they didn't really fit. Newer version is on now. Thanks for listening.
Update time! All of the older tracks are currently undergoing a makeover, and I've tried to take on board as much of the advice here as I can, since you as a general public are my target audience afterall, so I can only hope that you like the final album. More preview tracks are uploaded now; Parallels, track 9 of the album, and Heartstop, which isn't really part of the album, which is why I've called it a bonus track. Heartstop is the extended version of a track I made for a video, which you can watch here:
The video is fantastic I love it hehe, I used to be big on lego myself. How long did it take to make? It goes with the track well.
BUMP. The album is complete! I thought I'd let you all know since some of you expressed some interest in it at one point. I suggest downloading again any tracks you think you have since they have all been updated in one way or another, but I'm sorry there aren't more new tracks you won't have heard before. Anyway, any comments would be very welcome.
