UK February Gold Offer: Free 800 Microsoft Points

Sky's NOWTV is giving away 800 Microsoft Points for those that decide to sign up for the 30 day free trial, and then the points will be sent after those said days are over.

They had this deal last month, and for those that are Xbox LIVE Gold members, who want to watch free streamed films and free 800 MSP, definitely opt in for this!

I did the trial last month mainly for the free points, must admit I didn't really find much to watch on it. It had some good films, just nothing I hadn't seen already. I did also find it a bit strange how you could only watch some films within a certain time frame, like they used to do on Sky TV on demand stuff years ago (maybe they still do, never had Sky).

Great for the free points though and of course some films!

For the January Xbox members they were offering 1600 MSP for £8.99 for the month of February, but most probably just turned off the auto-renew because they wanted 800 MSP only.

By the way, IN, that's a bit strange, I were always able to watch a film whenever I wanted, but again, not really much to choose from. The ones I saw more were Project X and The Dictator.

I must admit The Dictator is a film I watched on there too! It wasn't like that for all films, however I noticed a few could only be watched at certain times. Cant go back and check now as my sub has since expired.

I don't think NOWTV is anything to shout about at the moment, Netflix is still the leader in my opinion. However for a month free and 800ms points you cant really go wrong trying it out.

My MS points for doing the Now TV offer in January arrived yesterday, I had forgotten all about them so it was a nice surprise. Think I shall be using them to purchase BattleBlock Theater when its released.

I received mine today. Pretty cool.

As of right now there are some really superb deals going on. Games that were 800 are 400 and 400 to 200.
