Well, I'm sure most of you have heard of it. If not, check it out here.

I was just wondering, has anyone heard of a group attempting to crack/hack a copy so that we could finally get a playable version for us regular civy's that don't want to spend $1000+ ?

I know it's what ArmA is based off of, but ArmA doesn't provide the type of features I love in VBS2 (RTE, AAR, Realistic Effects [that you cant mod into arma], and Insane customization).
 
Does look really cool. With a little amplified graphics it would be a great game. Though I looked for torrent, i found this. Its only version 1.0 of the game. I don't think that you'll be able to find 2.0. Download it here.
