What is the difference between an ipad and a Freescale A8?

    i'm looking for something for my boyfriend`s birthday and i dont really know what the difference between ipad and Freescale A8 8 Inch IMX515/800MHz Google Android 2.2 3G 512MB 4GB Tablet PC/UMPC . does anyone know?

    Different operating systems mainly. You can get alot more apps for ipad than any other table but from what i've heard it is limited in what it can do compared to other tablets for the same price range
