From what I've read it sounds like even just the beta of 7 is better then Vista, I haven't got around to doing it myself, I'll be doing that probably today or tomorrow.
ive innstalled it all and i have to say it is fantastic all you need is a key code thingy , ull have to find 1 or ask insane nutter lol
I think you ment windows 7 RC. and all the key you need are the same as the first beta (7000). google's
Oh it is, no problems with the RC build so far. It has drivers for everything in my MSI Wind netbook now, just install and use.
I couldn't install Nero, and it's explorer has been crashing constantly. It was nothing I hadn't expected from beta, though.
Try Nero lite, as for the Explorer issue im not sure. I had that problem with the Vista betas and found out it was because of a codec pack I had installed.
None of the Nero versions worked. I tried Nero 9, 8, 7, 6, even 5, Lite, Essentials but without success. I also don't know what seemed to be a problem with Explorer. It crashes in Vista too, from time to time, but with 7 it just didn't work. I should try out RC build to see if it will work.
I have yet to have that problem once, although I am using the RC build and never tried the other betas. I also had that problem even in Vista where explorer would crash.
Yes, indeed, Vista's explorer sometimes crashes if I open folders fast. Yes, it might sound funny but really, if I do it fast enough for Vista it will crash. But that only happens once in a while.
You must be able to open 50 folders in a second. lol. I had problems when programs would quit responding and when I tried to exit out of them with task manager if felt like crashing. I've had problems with programs closing but with the RC build everything has been fine. No crashes, there was only one driver that won't work because it says it could lead to instability, so windows won't let it turn on, apparently its not that important.
Well, maybe I'll give it a shot and try it in along with Vista. It can't be worse than beta, right? Or it can?
