I believe you need to rename the Systempdate folder to $ystemupdate for the console to pick it up if Dashlaunch is installed.

    Hi Guys,

I have small issue i have xbox 360 modified it works fine but any new games which released like assassin's creed rogue, call of duty advanced warfare etc are not working sometimes it's disk image error or unrecognized disk but fairly old games are working fine like tomb raider and gta 5. So do you think that i should do this system update to make all games work ? if yes what version of update should i do ? and will updating this will cause any problem to modified Xbox 360 ?

my dashboard version number is 2.0.16203.0

    Thanks
    Alston

    Hi newbie here.

My xbox 360 jtagged and LT3 with dashboard 17150 recently, but my avatar show in transparent grey and missing avatar editor. can I use your method to fix it? 10q.

    Edit:
    Just sharing, Mine fixed
Initially it won't recognized the update so I changed from the folder name from "$SystemUpdate" to "$$ystemUpdate". Plug USB and it automatic update by install Avatar Editor back.

You should just be able to update and keep playing, you shouldn't have any issues.

    My dash is currently 16203. I have a Liteon DG-16D2S 02510C (Originally 83850C), I have my dummy.bin, I last updated my drive firmware around 2013-06-26, with LTPlus-0251-v3.0.bin

    Can I install the
17150 update without flashing the DVD drive back to stock?

    Thanks.

I've updated to 17150, but I am now getting a popup message every time I sign in to any profile:
"Your console can't connect to Xbox Live. Do you want to exit this session and test your network connection? If you are playing a game, you will lose any unsaved progress."

    • Did I do something wrong?
    • How do I stop this from popping up every time I sign in?

Set your profile to auto sign in, if you sign a live profile in and your offline it always says that unless its the profile you set to sign in by default.

    Thanks.

I created a new profile and set it to auto sign-in, and the nag didn't come up for the auto-sign-in, but when I signed out of that account and into another account, the nag popped up again.

So... whoever is set as the default user will be fine, but everyone else is going to get a nag. :(

I've never considered hacking my xbox before - does anyone have any idea if a jtag/rgh xbox can avoid this?

This has always been the case when using an Xbox Live profile in a console not connected to Xbox Live. Can you just not connect to Xbox Live?

You can disable the nag on a Jtag / RGH console using Dash Launch i believe.

This was not the case before 2 days ago when I had dash 16203.

I have never connected my xbox to a network, and have never had any nag messages like this until now.

you don't need to worry about it as insansenutter said you could disable it by going to dashlaunch than network than liveblock set it to false ta-da you will now see no error.
