Xbox 360 Dashboard / System Update 2.0.17559.0 Download With Avatars

it's RGH hacked

You will brick your RGH using a normal system update like that, so it's a good job it didn't work! you have to build a newer hacked nand on Jtag / RGH consoles.

I have a tutorial on this: Xbox 360 Jtag or RGH Hack Easy Update to Dashboard 17502 with XeBuild GUI

Do be aware that is updating to 17502 and 17559 which is the thread this update is for. It will give you an idea of the process involved. their should be newer versions of XeBuild that support 17559 however.

Hey I received a 360 basically for free and it wasn't updating, following these steps I'm getting the same results.
Is it possible that this console has been banned or is there something else you suggest trying?
Current dashboard: 2.0.14719.0
Error 397f-4497-1380-0702-c000-0099

Ma Xbox fat kernel 17559 (lecteur flashé) mais ne reconnaît pas la clé USB comme mise à jour, mais elle la reconnaît uniquement comme un autre lecteur de stockage??????????merci

OK - it seems like i was late to the party. I am having the following error when updating my console (PAL - xbox 360 S 4GB) which i bought online from a second hand market. Previous owner is claiming it is not modified. I am suspecting that is the case as few NTSC disc are not playable on the console (error pops up as wrong region). Current dashboard is 2.0.16537.0

The error code i am receiving is - 4099-4497-1781-033-C800-0036

I have tried to re-initiate update using live and usb, perform rollback, clear cache falling shy on removing the harddrive as this console is not having a removable harddrive.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

NEED HELP!, Can't update system due to error 4467 - 4497 - 1600 - 267f - C000 - 0185
I Have a Xbox 360 Slim and so I've been trying for hours trying to update my system so I can play on my account but can't log in due to the update, I've tried downloading the $SystemUpdate onto a usb and downloading it like that but it gives be this code every time. I don't have a HDD which I know can cause problems due to it containing the Content folder but I can't find the Content file anywhere online and can't find any shops nearby that have a HDD. Any help on how to fix this problem?

Make sure the USB stick works right, is FAT or fat32 formatted (back up any other files onto your PC that might be there in order to prevent data loss) and it is the rar file is extracted with the folder $SystemUpdate with the su20076000_00000000 and maybe other files directly on the root of the stick. Let me know if you have any other issues.

Hey InsaneNutter, sorry to bother but would you happen to know the password to unzip the file for 2.0.17559.0 dashboard Xbox 360 please? Any help is appreciated
I don't think there should be a password for the zip file. I tried to download it just now and I was able to extract it just fine with 7zip and also Windows Explorer. Just wondering, are you sure you've got the right file and are extracting it properly?
Edit: Just to be sure, are you trying this on a retail system of a modded one?

Hi, I don't know if people are still posting answers or solutions, but I'll try anyway. About three days ago, I installed this version on my Xbox 360, which was running version 17489, because I wanted to install the Bad Update exploit on my console. After installing the update, everything went well except the console stopped producing any audio at all. There's no audio in games, in the main menu, nowhere. I don't know if anyone can help me. My console is an Xbox 360 Slim. I've tried everything: I've checked the settings, changed the cable, and even checked if the TV was having sound issues, but nothing has solved the problem. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Do other devices output sound via HDMI on the TV? if they was an issue with the update on a certain model of 360 i'd have expected it to affect all 360's of that model.

I just updated a non-modified system (well a failed modification, my son pulled off the pad from the pll point while trying to solder to it, so we abandoned it, no modifications), decided to do abadavatar, so I applied this update. I am now booting into E80 error, any advice how to go about fixing this? I don't have the original nand dump or cpu key. Is it good and truely bricked?

E80 is Related to eFuses, did you disable eFuse burning by removing the resistor when you attempted to mod the 360? if so you can try solder a 10k ohm resistor where the old resistor was.

i need some help, can't update my system to dashboard 2.0.17559.0 from 2.0.1751.0 because of "4467 - 4497 - 1380 - 2446 - C810 - 1004" and recently "4467 - 4497 - 1600 - 2446 - C810 - 1004" i have an xbox 360 slim (trinity, 10.83A)
i checked the storage settings and i don't have a 4gb internal memory unit
i tried installing through a usb and i formatted it multiple times under xbox and windows, checked it was fat32 and default allocation size and i had $SystemUpdate at the root of the drive
i also tried different usbs
i tried updating through an ethernet cable too and also used the bridging method aswell just incase
can someone help me figure out what's wrong and what i can do to fix it?

Subject: Dashboard 17559 Avatar Update not triggering on RGH 360

"Hi everyone,

I downloaded the official 17559 System Update from Digiex to restore my missing (grey) avatars on my RGH Xbox 360. However, I can't get the console to recognize the update.

My Details:

• Console: RGH

• Kernel: 2.0.17559.0

• DashLaunch Settings: noupdater is disabled, liveblock and livestrong are also disabled.

• USB Drive: 32GB, formatted to FAT32. It is recognized by the console in the storage settings.

What I've done:

1. I placed the $SystemUpdate folder on the root of the USB drive.

2. I also tried renaming it to $$SystemUpdate.

3. I've tried plugging it in while in the stock dashboard and also booting the console with the drive already plugged in.

4. I've cleared the system cache.

The Problem:

The update prompt simply doesn't appear. Because the avatar data is missing, I can't use my stealth server (Proto) to sign in, as it keeps asking for an update or giving a connection error.

Is there any known reason why a 17559 console would ignore a 17559 USB update folder even with noupdater turned off? Any help or alternative methods to install the avatar data would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!"

Subject: Fixed! Kinect and Avatar update on RGH (17559)

Message:

"Hey everyone, I finally got it working!

In the end, I used the official 17559 update files. What worked for me was renaming the folder to $SystemUpdate (with only one dollar sign). I also had to make sure that 'noupdater' was set to false in DashLaunch.

As soon as I plugged in my Kinect sensor, the console finally asked for the update and installed the avatar and Kinect data correctly. Everything is colorful again and Kinect is working perfectly.

Thanks for the help!"

Hey gang, I'm on an Xbox 360 I got for free from someone a few years back. Its on firmware 9199. No RGH or JTAG. I'm trying to update to 17559 but no dialog appears when I insert the usb drive. It's a 4 gig drive formatted to FAT32, with $SytemUpdate in the root directory. Is there an update path I have to go down in order for this old thing to be able to run 17559 or should it just work from 9199? Soz for the reply on the old thread, just diving down the xbox modding rabbit hole now lol. Learning as I go so I may not know everything from the start. Any and all help is appreciated!
