    Note:

    1] Installing this update will likely block Xbox Live access until its officially released if you are not in the preview program, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

    2] This update does have the avatars / kinect data, however has not been tested, please report back if it works or not.

    How to install:

    1.) Unrar the download
    2.) Copy the $SystemUpdate folder to the root of a CD or USB Stick (The memory stick must be FAT or Fat32 formatted)
    3.) Insert the CD or USB Stick into your Xbox 360 console.
    4.) You will be automatically prompted to update with a USB stick, with a CD / DVD it should say Mixed Media Disc, power down the 360 and power it on again. You should be ask to update before the 360 boots to the dashboard.
    5.) Once the update is complete your Xbox 360 will restart then boot up to the new dashboard. Enjoy!

    ok loaded this dashbord on my spare xbox, took the firmwere back to stock, had to reflash it, avatars working fine kinect also working fine on voice control well pleased xbox live dose not work

    obviously live will not work if your not in ms console database for the beta

    I'm in the database , but can't connect !

    I also got this e-mail from Microsoft Connect , but it won't let me put in my 360 serial . :(

    you plonker lol did you redeem the serial they gave you as that gives you the tool which is automated theres no way for you now so u gotta wait till 6th
