xbox 360 update problem :/

I got my xbox 360 hacked region free and now i cannot install the latest update from usb flash, the update process does not complete
it gives error 3CD6-4099-1600-2446-C810-1004
apparently 1004 means console error (as i got it hacked to region free)

so umm any ideas how do i update it? the latest update available si on 26th aug 2013

If your console is hacked to be region free it means it's either Jtag or RGH hacked.

how do i know if it is Jtag or RGH?

You can run unsigned code aka, emulators, homebrew apps, you might have Freestyle Dashboard installed.
