Cool! I understand that details can't be given, but we get a few small hints? If not. that's cool too.
You can provide screenshots if you like. Might want to make it members only if you do, there are some cranky people out there.
If i set a beacon on the dashboard where do i go to remove it? I'm sure im missing the obvious here I have removed it on Xbox.com, just couldn't find it on the dash!
i found some new info about this update and reset glitched xbox 360 "...very importantly, it would seem that the Xbox Fat, this update temporarily blocks the Reset Glitch Hack for all CB CB version are passed Stage 2." Google Translated on Logic-Sunrise.com
Buddies and I are currently working on making new Phat .jed files and new .ecc patches. Before this the Phats only had 1 CB,and Slims had 2 CB's. Now Phats have 2 CB's like Slims. They cannot patch the RGH so you dont have to worry(Unless you have a "Corona" Version Motherboard). This is Probally to make System Updates Smaller.
Looks like they're prepairing to finalize the apps for the official release. You won't be able to launch the beta apps. So I suggest you preserve all the apps used in this beta even if they can't be launched P: IMPORTANT!!! In preparation for launching the latest dashboard, we are processing updates to some of our existing applications which will require action by some users based on app availability. We want to make you aware of this as there will be some odd behavior that you will experience if you've previously downloaded one of these applications. Impacted Applications: Last.FM (US & UK) FoxTel (AUS) Sky (UK & IE) Canal+ Play (FR) Canal a la Demand (FR) Foot+ (FR) Monaco (FR) USER IMPACT: Users attempting to launch any of the applications in the list above from QuickPlay | My Apps | Xbox Guide will receive an error message, “Can't launch <app name>” USER ACTION: 1. Navigate to Settings --> Storage and Delete all instances of the application 2. Reboot Console – the app will no longer show up in QuickPlay, My Apps, or Guide 3. Navigate to the Apps Hub or Apps Marketplace and redownload the application 4. The latest version will now show up in QuickPlay, MyApps, or Guide
Aha oops P: I am also excited for youtube if it ever comes to the Xbox 360. I don't see why they just don't give us the final dashboard. I don't think 14686 is final yet, it still has the Download History Bug, Online status crash bug which i already reported. They don't seem to give a trash LoL. If you reinstall your TV App it will add the TV hub to the dashboard
Okay, so the latest dashboard has now been pushed out. Current version is 2.0.14699.0 Must be the final build! (no youtube) Known bugs: Changing online status before signing in still freezes console for SOME people. Download history, Xbox still freezes up when holding RT/LT Youtube's style has been updated recently. I guess this means we may be seeing it soon or something. New images of the Xbox 360 youtube have been shown on another website. They're low quality but they get the job done i guess. Edit: Can't be final, still got those silly bugs and the youtube, other apps aren't avalible.
its the final version they wouldnt incorparate loads of changes in 2 buisness days friday +monday also they can remotly add stuff like how the tv channel came availble and dissapeared also the appps dont require system updates they will just be added to the marketplace on the 6th and not everything will be avalible straight away
I can't see it being final, they know very well that there is a download history and crash issue with online status' it would be chaotic for them to release this buggy version. Anyhow, if they do, they'll only be laughed at. I never implied that apps are integrated with system updates, i know very well that they are only downloadable through the app marketplace. I suggest that they release everything now if it's done. Funn stuff, i'll go sleep now.
