I would have personally chose Joyride Turbo over Fable 3, too bad my JPN account is not gold!

    I'd do too.

I'm going to try the 48 Hours Gold on my JPN XBL account but I'm not expecting that it works, though.

Let me know if it works, I remember in some games despite been able to play on-line certain things were still restricted to gold only members with a 48 hour trial. I expect that will be the same here.

I tried Monster Hunter App and even with the right kanji numbers (double checked them on the paper) the next step wouldn't show any XBL 48H code instead it was an image saying something in Japanese.

As for July we already know that we're getting AC2/Halo3 but if Japan receives a better deal I'll be a bit disappointed.

Microsoft has changed from AC2/Halo3 to XBLA games for this month, starting with Defense Tower which will be available until the 15 July 2013 and then a different title will be given away.

I like this system better than retail games.

Digital Games can't be bought physically whereas Retail Games can.

Defense Grid is now available to download for free for all Gold members.

The game is basically what you'd expect from a tower defence game, defend it until you lose/get bored. It's nice to own a game like this because of this genre it's the only one I have.

I'm satisfied Microsoft went with XBLA games than Retail, although there seems to be people on the Official Xbox forum who'd prefer AC2/Halo3 over XBLA forgetting that those games have been out for ages and cost more or less than a Subway Breakfast. lol

Hopefully Joyride Turbo will also be made available next.

The game for 16 July 2013 is Assassin's Creed 2, Xbox UK announced it over at their Facebook.

I'd preferred something else than AC2/H3.

By the way, Games With Gold terminates this year (31/12/2013) so it's not lasting too long.

I thought i read somewhere it was only running until the end of the year. It was probably more of a publicity stunt to help soften the blow of the Xbox One's DRM i think. Either way 2x free games a month until the end of the year cant be bad, if we get a couple of good games for free who can really complain at the end of the day.
