I recently had my Xbox 360 Jtagged, and when the time came for pickup. The Xbox 360, had a different Console Serial No. in its Box, I am not talking about the out white plastic casing, I am talking about the serial no. where you peek inside the USB ports. My Xbox 360 is a xenon. I started it up and the Console Serial No. and ID still matches to my original in the Console Info by its Main Menu. But my Box serial no. outside had changed. The repairman had said he misplaced my Box somewhere, and couldn't find it. I wanted to ask help if I should contact local authorities about this. If this will have any impact in the future of the Xbox 360, i had Jtagged. (Quick Summary) Xbox 360 Plastic Casing Serial no.- Check Box Console Serial no.- Different Loading - Console Info - Both Check Will there be any problems in the later future ?
I appreciate the quick respond sean and rick. I take the xbox 360 as it is then. And wont make a big deal about it.
Contacting the local authorities about a modified consoles would never be a great idea for either him or you, if you had given him a Jasper and got an Xenon back then yes i would be annoyed too. However you gave him a non Jtagged Xenon and got a Jtagged Xenon back, everyone's happy.
I don't know what you are really complaining about really?, You got your console jtagged, Just with a different box o.O, I don't even know where my box is
Haha, i wasnt talking about the carton paper box, that comes with the xbox360 . I was talking about the aluminum box inside the plastic case of the xbox 360. Its where you see your second console serial number. Basically the aluminum box houses the motherboard inside.
