On another note, I'm hoping this isn't some sort of trap after I read the EULA... LOL, if our X360's all crash after the update because of something in it, they weren't responsible.. Creepy.

Usually any MS beta dashboards released for the public to use are very stable, I guess there just covering them selfs in the unlikely event something does go wrong.

Its likely Microsoft just want to deploy the dashboard to see how it works in the real world ready for the mass release this November, if something does break we cant complain as we asked them to update our consoles. If a problem did occur that could then be fixed before its released, saving them from having a huge disaster on their hands.
 
If you downloaded the leaked one from digiex.... you can't. You'll need to wait for the official release to get your xbox live back (should be november 3rd or 4th).
