So the price of the Xbox One is $499.99 and some games are $99.99. Really? Amazon.com: Games: Video Games
OK, that is a little better. Though I still think if the price of games were a little lower, people wouldn't buy as many used games. I personally wait until the prices start at around $30 and I have waited when they've hit $19.99. On my birthday or Xmas I usually get a game full price, but it has to be really worth it.
Hopefully games are still around the £40 mark here in the UK, $60 = £38. Games are listed at £54.99 on Amazon UK at the moment.
I for one am set for PlayStation 4. From the Original Xbox to Xbox 360 I was a huge fan of the Xbox and I only played on both of those consoles, except for PS2/PS3 which had a few interesting exclusives I wanted. Sony literally forced me to go for PS4 than Xbox One.
I also wait about a year or two before getting a new console, wait for all the bugs to be worked and for the price to come down. So if the Xbox One is still around then I will get one, if not I will maybe take a look at the PS4. Even $399 is still too much.
The Xbox One is $599 here in Australia, and the PS4 is $549, so not much of a difference. From what i can find, all next gen games will be $98 (standard editions) here. I prefer the games on Xbox, and what Sony showed at E3, it mostly didn't interest me, so i'm sticking with Xbox. Although, it'll probably be sometime around when Halo Xbox One comes out that i'll get the X1 Halo bundle (because i know there will be one), so probably around the end of next year.
