When browsing the Marketplace on the RTM build of Windows 8 this afternoon i noticed the Smart Glass app was available to download, as my console's are in the beta i figured i would download the app and see if it worked. To my surprise it actually did work, very well! As i have Windows 8 running on a PC and not a touch enabled device i dont think i can really use it to its full advantage. The app did however list all the games on my console, i could then set beacons from my PC informing friends i wanted to play a particular game, then launch that game directly from my PC, even if the Xbox was doing something else. With Internet Explorer for Xbox 360 i did some some touch screen control's i could click with the mouse, which did things on the screen. That however is of no real use without a touch screen device.
