Thnx...@InsaneNutter ....one more thing : should I use OVERBURN or TRUNCATE method to get the game installed on my Xbox 360 HDD ????
You shouldn't do either as neither method will burn 100% of the disc. Use the Burner Max Payload tool then you can burn the disc correctly.
I have heard the new ImgBurn uses truncate methd and the game readily installs to HDD ( tho i hv doubt whether it burns the full game or not) ....is tat true ????
If you get a finalize error when using Overburn, that means that your disc drive doesn't support that payload. You can truncate games and some will work but most will give errors when you're playing them and boot you to the dashboard, regardless of installing. I've heard some people say that if you play music from the 360 guide button while playing, it makes it less likely to get these errors. While I have no personal confirmation about it, I do know that you're much less likely to get that error when you're playing a game rather than sitting in a game menu. This could be because the 360 prioritizes loading the game over verifying the game is legitimate, which may be why the supposed music method works. I do hope that they're backups of games that you own as well.
I don't think i can install the game by using Truncate burn, can I ? What about the new Imgburn as suggested by bale11ronaldo7, Dark Scyth ???
how to burn Xbox xgd3 backups ?? should I overburn the backup or just truncate it ???? which is the best method and how can I make the game install to my HDD ???

Threads merged... Please don't keep making new threads about this in the downloads section. I think your question has been previously answered, you need a DVD burner that supports the burner max payload so you can fully burn discs. You will be able to install a correctly burned disc.
