PS3 Getting a Closed Beta!!

The PS3 is getting a closed home beta. What does everyone think? Anyone have a PS3? I wonder if Microsoft will be releasing a closed beta also for their new upcoming dashboard update? I wish they would. I personally like the Xbox 360 better than the PS3! Also will all those themes everyone purchased for the old 360 dashboard work with the new one being released? Thanks for any replies!

I think that Sony expanding the Home beta will be good for the PS3. I know quite a lot of PS3 owners are looking forward to it. From what I’ve heard about Home it sounds interesting but I’m not really sure if I would use it. Either way if I had a PS3 beta of Home I'd try it out and find out what all the fuss is about. People who like the Home beta will end up posting loads of screenshots and videos of it online, this would be good for Sony as it will boost interest in the PS3 and hopefully lead to more sales .

I don’t think Microsoft will release a dashboard beta to the public, if that was buggy it could possibly ruin peoples 360s. I would love to play about with the new dashboard but I think that’s one thing we will have to wait until it's released to test out. I have heard you will still be able to use the backgrounds from the themes in the new dashboard.

Thanks again, that gears 2 picture of the new dashboard is great. Which is a theme out now via markertplace. So I guess you've proved that we can use old dashboard themes. Great work!
