Well it looks like the gaming show Qore, which is available through the Playstation Network has broke the news of the PSP-GO.

Not only that, but the new Metal Gear game that everyone is trying to figure out is coming for the PSP, as well as a new Gran Tourismo game for the system (which is exactly what I asked for!). In the episode itself, you also see some gameplay footage of LittleBigPlanet.

The system itself will not replace the PSP-3000, but will be selling side by side on retail shelves. The console has a slide up screen and the main buttons are all hidden underneath. The screen is 3.8 inches, is 44 percent lighter then the PSP-3000, no UMD Drive, has bluetooth, a memory stick micro slot, a built in 16 gigabyte flash drive and will be available in the fall.

If everything keeps getting leaked, what is Sony going to show us now at E3?

Sony’s equivalent to the DSI? Looks like it has a few new features but nothing revolutionary.

Having 16Gigs would be nice, although it still wouldn't be enough for it + my 8 gig memory card...it might be enough for me. Everyone is probably gonna be pissed that UMD is no longer useful if they get a PSP GO. They still didn't really give the specs of it, I'd like to know the CPU speed. I might get one and wait for the time of it be modded.

Looks good! Hardly use my PSP so I don't think I would use one of these. I have a 16GB memory stick pro duo for my PSP and that isnt enough. Well if it wasnt modded it would not even have 1Gb lol.

    :O I didn't know they sold 16GB sticks.

I do like the idea of the slide screen but only one analog stick.|-)

Could be interesting if the hardware specs are a lot better than the original PSP and it gets hacked for homebrew. Don’t really have any interest in the PSP for games anymore.

I definitely agree if the Hardware specs are way higher. I still use my PSP for gaming quite a bit. Although not much for PSP games which it was originally intended. The only PSP games I play is Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, Final Fantasy games (FFI, FFII, Crisis Core.etc), and Monster Hunter Freedom Series. Other then that its for PS1 games or for music. I look forward to see what will happen to the homebrew scene when the PSP GO comes out.

I was interested in it until they revealed the price at $250. I know the 16gb of flash memory is probably the main reason for the price, but...the smaller screen and no umd drive just makes this a non purchase for me. If/when they get homebrew and all that stuff on it, then I'll probably consider getting one. I don't have broadband in my area, so the digital distribution concept is completely worthless to me. I know games can still be bought on flash memory cards, but what about my old games?

I have been wanting a PSP for a while now, so I may need to pick one of these up. I may wait to see if it is better than the PSP-3000.

I'd wait untill you can homebrew them, then I would get one.
