2 MB download speed!

    So, this morning, I decided to download, "Finding Nemo", and the download speed was 2.3 MB... thats BLOODY FAST! Usually, I get around 500 - 750 KBpS! What happend this time :| So fast... Whats your guys' top download speed? That for sure is the fastest I have ever seen in my household.... AntiNaz, OUT!

    That's 54 Megabits per second AntiNaz not 54 Megabytes per second. paardje's also talking about the speed of the wireless signal and not the speed of the modem.

    I usually get around 1.6MB/sec and I got a LIMIT of 25Gigs per month.

    the limit isn't really so great as it sounds, seeing as coutries around me seem to get unlimited internet and much faster, also.

    If you’re on wireless connect to your router with a wire, also ensure you’re not downloading anything at the time.

    Try a few different speedtest servers as I get a better speed from one in France compared to one a few miles from me... :S

    There's a difference between mb and MB, mb is megabits and MB is megabytes, a bit is a 0 or a 1, a byte is 8 of those.
