We don't get snow where I live, which is a shame. I would love to have some snow for the holidays. I could just travel to the UK and get snow for the holidays next year ;).

well, out side the windows of all of us who live in the north of england it looks like the second bleeding ice age so we will have to see about that.

The Ice and Snow will melt up here if I have anything to do with it, I need to drive my car out of the North and back to the respectable South ;)

I want to know where the "global warming" is? We're having a cooler than normal summer (so far) here in Oz, the UK, Europe, and the US (even Northern India) are all suffering from extreme cold temps.

Awesome pics, BTW, love the snow.

This news article might help explain it.

So it reduces the chances of colder climate conditions occurring, just not to 0%.

Good pictures, InsaneNutter. I got some on my phone but they didn't come out great.

Why do frozen trees look so hauntingly beautiful to me? Hmmmm I feel like we should've gotten this amount of snow at Christmas and not now what with me being back at work and all :P Great pictures InsaneNutter, I might add some of my own and show you how it's worse where I work in Bradford.

Well at least we had snow this Christmas. but I now what you mean with the snowy tree thing. The cold is annoying though. Even though we have the heating full blast in my house, I am still having to wear three pairs of socks!!!

We even managed 2" of snow to have a white christmas here in Dallas, Texas. For the first time I can remember, the ponds are actually frozen over. Mind you it is a thin glaze and I would never step foot on one, but they are actually covered in ice. Thank God it is supposed to get back in the mid 50's this week.
