1. TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN 2. HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE 3. UP 4. The Twilight Saga: New Moon 5. The Hangover 6. Star Trek 7. Avatar 8. Monsters Vs. Aliens 9. Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs 10. THE BLIND SIDE ****Which one is The Best in your Idea?***
Star Trek and Transformers would get my vote. I really enjoyed both and i've never really been in to Transformers or Star Trek (apart from voyager) either.
I've heard great things about Avatar, but as I haven't seen it yet, my two fav's in that list would have to be: Star Trek and then Transformers
UP was prob my favorite. I went to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince at midnight and I was pissed off when they made it so bad! New Moon was ok but there were too many shirtless men in that movie and not enough of fighting! Revenge of the Fallen was cool and had really nice audio too.
For me, its Avatar. I saw it, and its one of the best movies ever made, for me. The visual effects in both the backgrounds and also the fauna and flora of Pandora were the best i've ever seen (even without 3D), and I love the story as well. poorinem, i think Sherlock Holmes also deserved to be one of the best movies of the year, because its very well done A Great 2010 to everyone here at Digiex Edit: after seeing some other responses, I remember that District 9 was also one of the best movies I've seen, so I add it up
transformers was lame. they just created conflict to make the movie last 1.5 hours. if the kid wouldve given the shard to bumblebee in the very fucking beginning, problem solved. =P are these just the highest grossing movies? cause none of them are anything impressive. District 9 and Inglorious Basterds were brilliant films that didnt make the list.
Of course Transformers had a gianormous hole in it's plot but it was a good movie to watch, just for the action and Megan Fox District 9 was unreal, by far one of the best movies I've seen this year. I might have to see about watching Inglorious Basterds, might be good, but I've never really been a Tarantino fan.
No, I think they're his personal choises. A list of the highest grossing films this year can be found here. Some of my favourites this year would have to be 500 Days of Summer, Coraline and Zombieland. I'll second/third Inglorious Basterds and District 9.
Star Trek, Avatar, District 9, Coraline (I was surprised by how good it was) and UP. 2009 seems to have been a great year for films
