This could give some great opportunities. Game for Windows Live keys have worked on different games before.

I never knew that, just tested it out and my Halo 2 CD key does indeed work on StreetFighter IV.

I knew you could use the same cd key on multiple copies of the game on the same lan, didn't know they worked on totally different games too.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it works with any combination. For example I tried the tinker key with Red Faction: Guerilla, and in that instance it didn't work, whether it's because it's a free game or not I don't know. Might be worth experimenting with. Is there a quick way to change the Street Fighter 4 key? I don't feel like reinstalling my whole game to change the key.

Press the home key and try and sign in to an Xbox Live profile or signup for a Live Account. From what I remember if the keys invalid it will ask you to change it. If not then im not sure, I searched in the registry but couldn't find my key saved in it. I didn't have the game installed to just entered my Halo 2 serial and the installer was happy with it.

Arcade / retial game serials are probably different, don't really want to re install Gears of War just to find out if it likes my Halo 2 serial too.
