I was just watching a special on the Discovery channel for my Geology cours about the recent eruption in Iceland. I had been hearing about all of the flights that were grounded due to dangerous weather conditions cause by all of the volcanic ash. I was curious to hear if any of our friends in Europe noticed the ash clouds or if you may have seen some dropped on the ground from the cloud. Pretty remarkable event if you ask me. From what I understand, there is going to be a much larger eruption in the near future (perhaps sooner than we think) that will be at least 10x more powerful than the one that just happened last month.

Didn't notice anything here, I think it was just in certain flight paths over the sea.

We were having some of the warmest weather so far this year at the time, not that the volcano had anything to do with that.

First they fuck up the banks, then they fuck up the flights, I wonder what's on next years agenda for Iceland?
