Those interested into getting into the Kinect preview program can sign up here.
If you sign up quickly its pretty much guaranteed that you get in. Its worth noting that if you sign up for the Program a Kinect device will NOT be given to you and you WON'T be able to be in party chat with non-preview update members.

Personally I have a feeling I got in the preview.

No one knows for sure, but its highly likely. If your holding off applying for that reason, I wouldnt.

I've already signed up

It's just that I downloaded InsaneNutters update as it was made available, and haven't applied it to my console yet, in fear of losing LIVE access. I don't exactly want to be a Guinea Pig, just in case I lose LIVE regardless of signing up for the Preview Program or not.

You will be able to in two weeks, if you apply the update now its not going to let you sign in to live just yet. Your console ID needs to be added to the allowed list, this should happen sometime over the next two weeks.
