I love being able to say , " XBOX" "ON"
And being able to not use a controller.

I like the idea, but I'm not going to get it for the current price and available games.

They've got to release an exceptionally special game, will I consider getting it.

Simple Wii clones don't do it for me!

kinect is somthing im going to get when the price drops to around £50. I really dont think it deserves much or any hype at all.

I already know Kinect sales did pretty bad so I wouldn't imagine it would take long for the price to go down. Its a useless gimmick to me, the only upside is the quality of the camera. They just need to start selling 3 megapixel Xbox Live cams with a mic, like they do with the 1.7 Megapixel. I need a new mic and cam because the quality is horrific.

Did Kinect not sell out over there? I was under the impression most stores had sold out on pre-orders alone, thats the case for the UK anyway.

I don't know the actual statistics, I just made the assumption because I have about 60 some friends on Xbox Live and not one of them bought Kinect. In stores they aren't sold out here, its pretty easy to just go to a store and pick one up.

I think i will get this when its a bit cheaper, I find it very hard to justify at the price it's on sale for at the moment.

I do think it will end up like my Wii, will be great at first but only have a couple of games worth playing so I will never use it.

Hmmm I very much doubt a price drop from MS before Christmas. That's probably about the time Kinect will hit its sales target, or so MS hopes :). As for me, I haven't seen much with Kinect that makes me want to buy one. I do know that Nimrod is getting one but I don't know if he has yet. Maybe he could tell us how good it is :)
