UPDATE:Breaking news. A lot happened tonight in the world of code redemption on Xbox that has yet to be explained. Through the grapevine this past Sunday night, I heard of a website that gives you free Microsoft Points. Not one of those scams or web offers if you do those meaningless polls, but a new site that requires nothing but the tap of F5 on the keyboard. It does work, through this process gamers have just hacked their way into thousands and thousands of free Microsoft Points each. Now Microsoft knows about it. Curious as to what this is all about? Step inside.

UPDATE: My source has been in contact with a 1-800-4MY-XBOX (a video interview will be out tomorrow). The situation is currently being resolved, however a projected 1.2 million dollars has been lost.

Allegedly, well known hacker iTzLuPo is the one who spread the word about this website. By looking at his Youtube channel comments, it seems as though he is the person responsible.

Edit: It has been confirmed to be more of an exploit than a hack, the mere changing of an already existing url for a legit 160msp code. This led to an endless amount of offers. Video will be out in a couple of hours

MS states they will take action against people who used these codes but we are not sure when that will happen.

Lol sounds like Microsoft and with them who knows what they will do could just remove all points and reset your account or they might do something really missed up and ban the account they are used on

No major reports of them doing that yet,it was so simple to get points all someone had to do is refresh the page or change a number in the url and free points.

It's kinda their fault for leaving a page like this open to the public.

I didn't read about this until it was too late, I would have got some points to buy the map packs for Gears 2, MW2, Blackops and Reach. I dont believe in buying extra maps for games, but if the points were free then why not?
