Have a look at the OSX X86 project, it’s possible to install OSX depending on your hardware, I’ve never been able to get it to work correctly but you might have more luck (If you do try it I would disconnect your hard drives and install it on an old one so if it messes up you don’t loose anything!)

It's kind of pointless getting Mac OS X on a PC I always thought.
One reason for getting a Mac is because they look so much nicer.
If you run OS X on a PC that defies the point.
 
I’ve seen some very nice looking pc’s/laptops that are not Macs, I would be more bothered about what’s inside than how it looks.

The cheapest Mac desktop (the mini) is £400 and comes with 1gig of ram and an 80gig harddrive... I’ve recently built a pc with for someone with 4gigs of ram, 500gb hard drive and a 2.5ghz dual core processor for less than that.

To me if you could get osx working it makes perfect sense, especially if you don’t have a lot of cash to throw away.
 
If you needed it then yeah maybe.
I dunno, seems strange to me since it runs less things than windows.
 
You might have a kick ass quad core pc and just want to dual boot to run something like Logic or Final Cut Pro, I get what you’re saying though, some people might just need/want to run OSX spending as little money as possible.
 
My DAD bought we Fifa 09. He's coming back home at like 11pm so just waiting for him to get home so I can play!

Cant remember my MOBO some Dual GFX..
 
I bought the 400th edition of the oficial dr who magazine. so for the next couple of weeks i will be the boards go to guy for anything dr who
