Sega Heritage Collection coming soon!

If you're an old-timer gamer or just a fan of older games, Sega has just the thing for you. It's called the Sega Heritage Collection and it brings forth a rush of nostalgia. Sega has put out a little trailer for it below, showing off Sonic Adventure 2, Jet Set Radio, and Nights into Dreams in full HD glory.
The various games are being released separately. Jet Set Radio is set to hit the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live later this month, while Nights into Dreams and Sonic Adventure 2 are supposed to be out in October. These games are supposed to be just a taste of what's to come, with rumors of Shenmue and Skies of Arcadia making their way to the HD realm and modern consoles soon.

I've always wanted to play Sonic Adventure 2 but never had the chance because I never owned it (Dreamcast's version is quite pricey, damn!) so for 800 MSP (I suppose it'll be how much it costs) it's a must.

And oh yeah, gotta love the trial, Sega usually uses the best parts of their Sonic games even on not so good games (Sonic Unleashed). Sonic Unleashed is great, but the Werewolf Sonic and going around cities just teared the game apart.

I want Jet Set/Grind Radio and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. They'll both be well worth it in my opinion.

It looks to be a separate digital collection, but who knows, they might release it on DVD, this is well worth a physical release!

If this is released on DVD for Xbox 360 I will certainly consider purchasing just for the fact that I'll get to own Sonic Adventure 2.

This is sort of "Dreamcast Collection 2" except, Nights Into Dreams was a Sega Saturn game so it automatically eliminates the hypothesis of calling it "Dreamcast Collection 2" which is a bummer, because I've always wanted to see a second volume of the collection.

Luckily things get "cracked" so it will still be possible to play digital download games only many years after the service has gone.
I know what you mean though DRM / Digital downloads could quite easily be lost in the future as you never really own the product.
