When I get back from work I'm going to redeem a bunch of Shiny Channel Jirachi's. If you need anymore for the save file how many should I get? I'm gonna get one of each nature for my personal save, and then maybe some really good shiny spreads.

I'm guessing a lot of possible shiny combinations exist compared to the WISHMKR where only 9 are possible? If you have the time maybe one of each nature to give people a good choice? i'll let you decide depending on the time you have. Most would probably have to go in one of the overflow saves as were limited on space in the main save.

For now I decided to just do one of each language with the best possible spread I could find:

One of each language is perfect, thank you.

I'll figure out the best way to move things around to accommodate and get them added to the save asap.

I finally just got the chance to test this, and I can confirm that Shiny Channel Jirachi will in-fact go through the poke transporter to the pokebank

That's great news, thank you for confirming.

I've also not forgotten to add these to the save, I just need to find time to do another update :)

Great effort with the Shiny Channel Jirachi!

I'll look into fitting them in this Wednesday. I just want to figure out the best way to keep the organization from the revamp.

Okay, so after a lot of thinking, this is what I decided to do with the shiny language variant CHANNEL Jirachis, and I'll explain why.

The revamp I did a few months back caused a lot of stress because I really wanted to focus on proper organization, rather than just continuing to fill empty holes. Since there was really no perfect way to fit these Jirachis in categorized properly, I was first considering deleting some of the many multiple WISHMKR or CHANNEL Jirachis in Savefile 2. However, since these language variants of the shiny CHANNEL aren't really unique (identical PID and all), I didn't find it fair to delete unique Jirachis.

So I almost decided to reinstate the scrapped Savefile 4 that I had originally planned during the big revamp (would have included more of the insane amount of extra Japanese events from Ahiru's Wonderland), but my original reason still stood that a fourth savefile would be overkill unless it becomes a definite necessity for space expansion. A few Jirachis hardly warrant that decision. So in the end, what I decided was to rename the "GER Aura" box from Savefile 2 to "Misc 2", and move it right behind the "Misc" box. It had the perfect amount of space needed for these Jirachis, and is overall similar to the way the "Misc" box was organized. I figure this was the best decision I could do, considering they were better suited for Savefile 2 than Savefile 1.

@InsaneNutter, you can update the OP as follows, and I attached the updated zip:

    Event Savefile 2:

    Box 1 - 3: PCNY events (x83)
Box 4: Journey Across America 10 ANIV events (x28)
    Box 5: 10 ANIV Celebi (x10) + Wishing Star (Negaiboshi) Jirachi (x11) + Doel Deoxys (x6)
Box 6: German Aura Mew (x24) + Spanish Aura Mew (x1) + Shiny CHANNEL Jirachi (x5, one of each language)
    Box 7: Space C Deoxys (x30)
    Box 8: WISHMKR Jirachi (x18) + CHANNEL Jirachi (x10)
    Box 9: Ageto Celebi (x30)
Box 10: Pokemon Box Eggs (x5 hatched, x9 eggs)
    Box 11: In-Game Island Captured Events (x14)
    Box 12: In-Game Unown full set (x28)
Box 13: Debug distributions from the German Debug version of Pokemon Ruby (x30)
Box 14: Debug Unown full distribution set from the German Debug version of Pokemon Ruby (x28)

Thank you @Deoxyz totally agree with your decision. First post is updated.

  12. Just a question:
Do we really need these 2 boxes?

    ''Box 11: In-Game Island Captured Events (x14)
    Box 12: In-Game Unown full set (x28)''

    Just asking.

I think the Unowns are useful to have, but I understand what you're saying that they probably don't belong in a save file like this. The Island Captured Events are actually event pokemon though, and definitely belong in something like this.

Hello, I'm new in here even though I knew about this topic existence for more than a year now, I just wanted to ask some questions hoping that I might get some answers, to start with I have a Nintendo 3DS XL and I've been a Pokémon fan since my childhood, my questions are, those event Pokémon listed, are they able to be transferred through Pokémon bank to new generations tool the 8th if yes, is it all of them or just few, if there's only few can you put them in a box named pokebank or something, now my other questions, but before it I appreciate all the work you've done with gathering all the rare event Pokémon which I find fascinating *-* so tell me, are cloned Pokémon are legit? Are the event Pokémon brought by hacked event tickets considered as legit, are Pokémon that we can get with glitches like coin case and tweaking glitch are legit? What can we do about Shaymin Pokémon because I didn't find it elsewhere! What are the charts that helps you to get legit shiny Pokémon? I wanted to know all of the stuff around that, because I don't want hacked portion to be in my party and thank you again for all the good work

Yes you can transfer these to Gen 4 and 5 on the DS, then use the Poke Transporter to get them on your Pokebank to use in either Gen 6 or 7 on the 3DS. I've not personally transported them all, only a few as its a time consuming process. However all should go though ok as their legit events. You could also use PKHeX to emulate the transfer process on a mass scale, however anything i transport i prefer to do it on real hardware, the way it was intended to be done.

All these Pokemon are legal, however obviously clones which some people would never class as legit so it's subjective, however yes their are no hacks here to be best of our knowledge and certain Gen 3 Pokemon we're distributed as clones anyway, such as the Mystery Mew's where only a limited number of unique Pokemon exist.

The Pokemon have come from people who attended the events over the years, or the Pokemon GBA Event Distributions the community has managed to preserve. Shaymin is Gen 4, however we have that distribution in the Gen 4 sections: Pokemon Movie 11 Shaymin Distribution or Pokemon Toys R Us Shaymin & Regigigas Distribution. Please keep this topic to the discussion of Gen 3 events in this save file though, anything else can be asked in the relevant thread or by starting a new discussion topic.

Thank you, I've watched some videos on YouTube and I can confirm that there are other YouTubers that have 3rd gen event Pokemon on their old games, the videos goes with the title " exploring my old Pokemon save " or so, they definitely don't know about this thread, so if you find something useful you might ask them to give you a copy of their save file, another thing, there's an app called poketype on Google play that gives all the generations QR codes, even shiny, wanted to ask if they are legit or not, and thank you for everything

This may be some years late, but I've only found this awesome thread last month and started going through the comments to check for useful stuff like this. How can I used an old Gameboy backup to transfer a surfing pikachu to gen 7? Can I inject the old save from a real cartridge/flashcart to my 3ds VC game?

Another one, how do I use this save file in a flashcart (everdrive gba)? Do I simply download it and drop it in the same folder as the ROM I want to transfer it to? Is there any optimal game that I want to choose if I want to transfer them to my DS?

Thanks a lot for the amazing work you guys have done.

See this thread for a tutorial on how to transfer Gen 1 and 2 cartridge savefiles onto your PC and then onto VC. However, note that any unique Gen 1 or 2 event pokemon won't pass into PokeBank since they weren't legally obtainable in the VC versions. So a Surfing Pikachu likely won't pass, but sometimes their legality filter has bugs. Alternatively, you can force transfer it through PKHeX instead of PokeBank.

For the savefile on an Everdrive, just start a new game with a FireRed rom, then replace the savefile on the SD with this save with the identical filename and extension. I forget the exact location, but I think all savefiles are created in a specific folder on the EverDrive's SD root.

You can obtain a Surfing Pikachu on Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon for use in Gen 7 games by beating the high score of Big Boss in Mantine Surfing.

Transferring a Surfing Pikachu up from Gen 3 requires the HM moves to be deleted, so you'd be as well just getting one in Gen 7.
