Xbox 360 back up my dashboards i have 6 different versions across my netwrok of boxes
OK now i understand all that i have a technical question in response, just to see if its possible. Can i just remove a chip from the motherboard and replace it with a new one (or another from another console, or even a blank one so it can be altered before hand or after is applicable) which...- King_Z

Banned xbox 360, i need another dashboard so i can go online.
That is only if they ban your user name. They ban consoles, i have read somewhere that they ban the unique ID thats hardwired into the motherboard. I am not bothered about Xbox Live, i am looking for an alternative that i can install on my xbox 360.- King_Z

Thanks thats good to know, however... I can download a new dashboard update from Xbox and put it on a disc/usb drive and then install to the xbox. Is there anything someone has made that will just install in this way, presumably it is possible as if someone just has the right codes to tell the...- King_Z

How do i do this? do i have to buy anything like chips boards etc? The dashboards i have are at the end of my post. I have read somewhere that you can delete the current dashboard which takes it back to 2.0.1888.0 but has no front end (or something to that effect) and you can reinstall another...- King_Z

OK i have about 6 different versions of xbox 360 dashboards. I want to back them all up to either a usb drive or a cd/dvd disc Is there a way of doing it? Can i do it withjust using the xbox 360 itself? Do i have to do any soldering? Do i need any more equipment or can i just plug in a wire...- King_Z
