    Dreamcast

    Hi.i still have a Dreamcast and still love it. It doesnt get played as much these days but every now and again i'll dig it out. Last thing i was messing about with was mame which worked really well.

    Whats the oldest tech gadget / accessory you have that you still use?

    I had a Spectrum in my youth and a ZX81 before that...happy days. recently picked up Comic zone and Cool spot on my megadrive again.Still played really well.Think the platform stuff like these and Sonic have lasted the best.

    Problems started cos think I format drive when corrected to Xbox via transfer cable and only sees it as USB stick now. Have read other posts about people doing same thing but doesn't make me feel less stupid. Anyway I'll give your idea a try. On pc it doesn't have partition 0 now.

    Having not heard of a jtag I've just googled and I haven't got access to one and sounds more hassle and more expensive then the original hdd was.

    no good.xbxo 360 still doesnt see it. any other ideas anyone? Have read several posts after googling but havent seen a sure fire method of solving this. Did see on a different post here about converting a external hdd for use on 360? Was for Western hdd but would something similar work?

    Guess it would be either The original game boy ive still got or maybe the mk1 megadrive. As i seem to never be able to part with my old systems there are several sat in boxes in the loft.

    Hi.if someone was stupid enough *cough cough* to have formated a 120gb Hdd whilest connected via transfer cable and not directly to xbox so the xbox then only see's the hdd as a usb device how would you correct it? it didnt have any data on it that would be lost.

    Thanks for help mate. Ran into problem with 360 recognising new hdd but seen similar posts on this site so will look into it. Think got it sorted but will let you know. Great site so keep up the good work.

    Sounds easy. One last thing by doing it that way does that take over everything? What I mean is do I have to mess about with any licience or profiles for my live account.

    Thanks for quick replies....yes it does show up as a usb.i have got a xbox 360 8gb usb stick. my 20gb hdd is almost full so will the files be to big to put on stick?
