Hi guys , i have a little problem . Every time i want to inject a demo or dlc above 1GB into a usb flash drive ( 360 formatted ) it will freeze & won't load once injected in to the 360 . Demo's under 1GB are working fine , like the new Driver demo . Everything above will not play , or i will get a message : Dirty disc ... Any suggestions BTW , i have a 8GIG Scandisc Cruzer flash drive & i use the new USBXtaf 44 ( finally got it working on Mac ) .
you could use vmware or something like that to emulate windows then use soemthing like horizon or modio to inject
Not sure i use USBXtaf V26 on linux works good , ive injected dlc 1gig + , just dont load or click anything when its injecting. when i inject large files Xtaf looks like its crashed but its still injecting I dont think it would be your usb
Xtaf looks like its crashed when injecting or extracting large files, however if you leave it then it should be fine. If your USB has an indicator showing when its been accessed that should be flashing away wall Xtaf is doing its business.
Inject the demos,it will appear as the program has frozen which is normal,when its unfrozen its done. You could also do this,it doesn't fix that issue but it makes your drive faster. How to Make a Slow USB Flash Drive Faster, Bernie Zimmermann (skip step #1)
Still the same problem . If i want to move or copy content (above 1 Gig ) to the 360 , then i get this : See picture below . Update : Guess what , USBXtaf V26 does the trick . Everything is working fine if i use that version of USBXtaf.
just to check you do have enough space and are you trying to copy it to the xbox 360 onboard flash or the hdd
New Update : Ok , found a new way to get things working : I formatted my 8gig usb only for 6gig and i made a copy of Call of Duty classic (1,3gig ) to the usb flash drive . Now i don't have any trouble with demo's or dlc above 1gig . I also use USBXtaf V26 . Anyway , thanks to everyone for you're reply's .
